Our commitment

Rescue Realty LLC, operator of HomeIQ.cc, is committed to providing an accessible experience for all users, including people with disabilities. We work to identify and correct accessibility barriers as we continue to improve the site.

Standard we target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which help make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities.

Measures we take

• Semantic HTML structure with a single page heading and logical section hierarchy.
• Full keyboard navigation support for interactive elements.
• Visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form controls.
• Color and contrast choices designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
• Clearly labelled form fields and error messaging.
• Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
• Respect for users' reduced-motion preferences in animations and transitions.

Known limitations

HomeIQ is a work in progress, and some areas may not yet fully meet our accessibility goals. In particular, property map views currently use a static map placeholder rather than a fully interactive, screen-reader-accessible map component. We are working toward a more accessible map experience.
